Caverta

Caverta works in conjunction with sexual stimulation to treat erectile dysfunction or impotence in men. This oral prescription is a phosphodieterase inhibitor. Caverta works by increasing the blood flow into the erectile organ which supports the cause of maintaining a proper erection which is suitable for sexual activity. It does not protect against any sexually transmitted diseases like HIV infection.

How should one start using Caverta?

Take this drug orally, at least an hour before sexual activity or as it has been directed by your physician. Avoid exceeding the dose. A meal rich in fat content should be avoided as it may reduce the effect of the pill.

Side Effects of using Caverta

Allergic reaction may occur like: severe dizziness, rash, unusual swelling, itching, and trouble breathing.

Some other side effects are

• Stomach upset
• Flushing
• Headache
• Heartburn
• Diarrhea
• Nasal stuffiness
• Diarrhea
• Lightheadedness

The use of Caverta may cause

• Blurred vision.
• Increased sensitivity to light.
• Impaired color discrimination.

If you suspect an overdose contact your emergency room as soon as possible.

Warnings before you use Caverta

• Inform your doctor about your entire medical history and if you are or have suffered from health ailments like: sickle cell anaemia, blood system cancers, eye related problems, liver disease, kidney disease and heart problems.
• Do not drive or indulge in any activity which requires alertness as Caverta may induce drowsiness.
• If you are allergic to any of its active ingredient do not use Caverta.
• Avoid using Caverta along with other medications as it may enhance its side effects.
• Excessive amounts of alcohol should be avoided.
• Without informing your doctor do not increase the recommended dose.
• Caverta is not advised for the elderly as they may be sensitive to its side effects.

Drug Interactions

Do not use drugs which contain nitrates as its active ingredient. Avoid abruptly stopping the use of any medication with your doctor’s approval.

Added Information

• Sharing of this medicine is not allowed as it may not be suitable for some individuals.
• This prescription cannot be replaced for health conditions.
• If intended for extended use obtain refills before stock runs out.

The use of Caverta is not permitted for women. All medications should be kept away from children, while storing away from heat and moisture.
